Iron Fey

Guys!! I finished my book goal for the year!!  I started reading this book on Tuesday because we were rained out at work. It’s call the Iron Fey series and there are ten books! I’ve finished two already because I have problems.  I ate a little better today, go to the gym, watered appropriately. It was a busy but a good day.

I Know, I Know

I missed yesterday.  In my defense, I ended up working from 930am-1155pm. I also got blood work drawn.  The down side to that was I had three donuts.  Today was rainy and miserable at work but! Erika and I got to dance to the German band at the same time so that was exciting!  I started my 6th book of the year and Peter and I went to see the Pacific Rim sequel.

Pray Love Remember

I finished my fourth book of the year “The Rosemary Spell” from which I took the title of today’s post. It isn’t a great book but it was entertaining for the most part. Learned a little bit of the conspiracy theories about Shakespeare so that’s good.  I also went to the gym and now I’m going bed. Peace.

A Day Off

So everyday I make an entry, I do my tags first. Today has so many tags! I did a a lot today to warrant that. I went to a tea room that originally was schedule led for Catherine and I but scheduling ended up not allowing her to come up during the week so I had to go by myself. I decided to dress cute and rock some cowboy boots. The tea was yummy and relaxing. I went to the library on the way and got a book to read while I was there. Then transitioned to a doctors appointment because being healthy is important. Followed by laundry, bank errand, making a counseling appointment to deal with the stress in my life, being supportive for Peter, going to dinner with Anella, and now I’m puppy sitting!  So busy!!  But not in that draining way. It was good to have fun, self focused things happening. I love having time for myself :)

Progress Not Perfection

Today was measurements day with my personal trainer and I HATE doing it. I joined the gym in May last year and every time I get measured, I'm bigger. And every time I tell her the same thing "I need to just get here more and do better at eating." Every. Single. Time. But not today. Today I was down four pounds from my last measurements in November and I think two inches???? What?? Its a small win. It isn't noticeable visually. And it could have an other explanation. But it felt kinda cool to see the numbers go down. I'm hoping to have more of those sooner than later. Also! I finished the extra stories to the Splintered series so that makes three books so far this year. That's pretty cool too. All the progress.

Goal Seven

Goal seven is something I have been mulling over for a while and it kind of stumbled it's way into my lap today as I randomly had the day off. I decided to spend the first half of the day outside of my apartment which led to me on many adventures. I looked at apartments (found one I LOVE), did laundry, stuck to the basics of my schedule, made a return, dropped off the dry cleaning, did the dishes, bought the cat Christmas presents, gave and received support from a friend, watched a comedy show on Netflix for an hour, called about my hospital bills, paid my insurance premium, cooked dinner, went grocery shopping, exchanged one of the cat's presents for something else, and somewhere in the middle of all that I went to my local library and got a library card.  I've been wanting to get back into reading for a long time. The friend that I spoke with earlier said she had so many books to read once we graduated because she finally had time. While I don't necessarily have a ...
