PKs Playzone and Grille

Today was a day of fun and bad food and laughs and games.  My eldest nephew turned ten today. My little nugget, my bugs, is ten!  There is a picture saved on my sister’s camera of me holding him st like 4 days old when I was 15 and kissing his forehead and suddenly he’s in fourth grade and brilliant and obsessed with video games. So Peter and I drove to Tampa and played games all day today. I scored the highest because I got a jackpot on a ticket game but it was super fun.

Universal Happiness

Today was my nephews' first visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. I stuck the older one on The Mummy roller coaster without properly preparing him and he was not happy. The whole group shared a Simpson donut because why not. I had rice, chicken and bans for lunch and I walked 4.5 miles.  It was a good day and I wish everyday as like today.

Thanksgiving

As I said, today was a busy day for my family. Everyone was running around getting ready, going from one food festivity to the next. There are so many blessings that we have a family so it is always nice to see everyone and share stories. I did dress up and did my makeup and was generally awesome. However, I took no pictures of this on my own technology so I have to wait until other people share the pictures with me. I also did alright with food but crumbled at des...

Festivities

My choice to spend my 25th birthday in Tampa with my family was one that didn't make sense to a ton of people. But Kaitlin, why wouldn't you go see your friends? Why not go do something fun?  In the end, my fun was with people who are important to me (nephews, boyfriend, sister, grandmother, Catherine) in the one place I truly feel at home.Peter and I drove down to Tampa on Wednesday night in order to spend my whole birthday with people that remind me of home. That remind me of beginnings and hope. We ran around town, visited with my family, and ended the day with Thor 3. Was it the most exciting birthday ever? Of course not but it meant something. It was fulfilling to be home and to see my wonderful people. On another note, I should probably tell the world about a birthday adventure I decided to go on just a little early. Last week, I did something completely insane (for me). Being a generally cautious person, it takes a lot of me to sit down and decide on someth...
