Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

I spent the majority of the last week working extra  hours so I could have a half day in order to go to HHN with Kayla and Brianna. It was a highly successful night!! I got Brianna to go through some of the scariest houses and in general we got a ton of stuff done. 7/10 houses!! Crazy!! Kayla and I ended up going a additional night to repeat some stuff and do the show. Next year will hopefully be just as successful!  Peter and I saw the remake of Halloween in theaters. It’s an entertaining movie with some twists. I thought it was good and I’d go see it again for sure just to see how those twists hold up.  I then got to go to Tampa to see Catherine and dress up as Dark Betty from Riverdale!! Of course, it wasn’t perfect and getting the supplies ended up being an adventure in and of itself but it was fun and I can always perfect her costume in the coming weeks!

Let's Talk About Tuesday

Today was a great day. It was a good day at work (despite the clients having a silent group because they are misbehaving), I looked hella cute in my dress and makeup and hair and over all good vibes #BossLadyMondayonaTuesday. Anella and I went to see The Nun because we have been trying to do this since it came out. We finally got to see it and it was freaky but not terrible. Jump scares mostly and general suspense. It is so different to go to the movies with a girl friend rather than a significant other, it seems more playful you know? As planned, she and I then went to the Mall to get our favorite food court Chinese food. It was fabulous (and fattening) but so good. While we were eating, a man approached us and walked if we wanted to play trivia to which Anella responded "she does" because I am chalk full of useless information (IS THAT THE CORRECT SPELLING OF THAT PHRASE???). So we start playing trivia while we eat. I don't think I have ever been that competitive ab...

Halloween Horror Nights- day one

In general, goals have been iffy. I have been drinking water regularly, hanging out with friends more, today was a Fashionista Friday, and I have been looking into how to submit a proposal. Weight increased but I can't quite pin point why.  Today was the first night of HHN. It was okay. We made it through one house and then lines got worse, the time crunch kicked in, hunger struck, and dehydration took Peter out completely. We are going back tomorrow, hopefully I will have more to report.

“You Can Spend 50 dollars”

That is what I told myself when I got out of the car to walk into Payless.  Today was a “day off” even though I worked from 640-1150  running group and making sure the clients didn’t get into fist fights. Afterward, I went home and three away our fish tank because some strange creatures were inhabiting it and then I went to go get my oil changed.  That was going to take too long so I said “let’s go to the library!”. And that’s how I ended up at Payless.   I need new shoes desperately, mine are three years old and falling apart. So I set a limit. I spent 46 dollars on four pairs of shoes and I am happy with my purchase. Now to not buy anything else... oh wait.  All of the things needed to be replaced today like laundry detergent and bug spray. Ugh. So there went More money.  I did talk with Amanda briefly. Time is a social construct.  I’m tired.

Pre-Wedding Wedding Festivities

Hello world. It is nice to be able to speak with you again.  Because of all of the festivities of this weekend, it was impossible to keep up with my noom app as well as the blog. So let's dive in to everything! Friday was a bad day but I made it Catherine's and was able to show her friend Marry everything for the following day which was her Bachelorette Party!! In the morning we went to lake park and she found a few of her friends and a their unicorn piñatas which had things that she needed to celebrate the rest of the day (sash, tattoos, ect). While we were out and about, there were people back at her house setting up decorations, reheating food that I had previously prepared and getting everything set up for her surprise. She was very excited once we got back to her house and she got to see everyone, including her sister in law and brother when he came to get her fiancé out of the house for a few hours!  We ate, played games and then got to take a nap before doing her makeup...

A Day Off

So everyday I make an entry, I do my tags first. Today has so many tags! I did a a lot today to warrant that. I went to a tea room that originally was schedule led for Catherine and I but scheduling ended up not allowing her to come up during the week so I had to go by myself. I decided to dress cute and rock some cowboy boots. The tea was yummy and relaxing. I went to the library on the way and got a book to read while I was there. Then transitioned to a doctors appointment because being healthy is important. Followed by laundry, bank errand, making a counseling appointment to deal with the stress in my life, being supportive for Peter, going to dinner with Anella, and now I’m puppy sitting!  So busy!!  But not in that draining way. It was good to have fun, self focused things happening. I love having time for myself :)

“You don’t understand, ITS ABOUT WEDDINGS!”

Today was a bundle of fun!! It ended up be no an inadvertent Boss Lady Monday which was nice (despite my nose looking like it was dragged across cement). I finished all of my work for the day, got done it on time, the real boss lady brought us doughnuts. And then I got to help boyfriend through a small crisis that he was very scared about but ended up be nothing. Took Anella and Matt to EPCOT because why not and to get some gifts.  Also, a client gave me a gift today because he appreciated me which is always fun.  It was a good day.  The only down side was leaving my iPad at work but luckily my friends grabbed it for me and Anella even check on my Sims because there is a wedding event right now and I will just be devastated if I miss it.  Yay!

So. Much.

The week got away from me again but I kind of have an excuse? I went to Ilysa’s wedding last Sunday which messed up my Monday/Tuesday schedule. Then I got to spend the night over at my Big’s house with her and her sister. Why you ask? GOOFY’S MYSTERY TOUR!! For those who don’t know, this is a cast activity where 300-ish teams of four people who are bungee corded together run around to solve Disney themed puzzles and answer Disney trivia.  It wasn’t on Wednesday, it was on Thursday. But Wednesday night we prepped until 1am. And in event day, we were out until1am in 30 degree weather . We did fairly well at the completion in my opinion. 9/12 puzzles plus the final mystery. We had some really hard puzzles to do and some easy ones. It was good time. We came up with the final puzzle as a group pretty much and it was the first time we have ever gotten the final mystery so that was great.  Friday came and I went to work sooooo tired. But it was fine. Saturday I went to wo...

The Last Jedi and Elf Supplies

Friday's are busy days but today was exceptionally busy. We are down staff members at work which means everyone has to do extra things. And then I'm generally bad a time management so that's not helpful. And then Anella and I had some elf supplies to get for things we are planning for Christmas! I'm going to be Jingle and she's going to be Bells and then we will be Jingle Bells together and get to spread Christmas cheer to all the clients! We have bells and skirts and hats and leggings and all the festive things! That follows seeing The Last Jedi with the boyfriend. It was so much better than Force Awakens but I still have a reservations. All the Leia feels though!! And Luke!! I don't really care about our new characters though #unpopularopinion. Go see it and see what you think for yourself.

Birthday Break

Today I was able to do some self care activities courtesy of my friends! I was able to finally get my nails done and while one hand is completely messed up (like whoa) it was fun. I love getting my nails done and feeling pampered for a little bit. It's great. I also got to hangout with Brett and finally experience the Food and Wine festival (at a discount because cast, what up) in it's entirety. Brett wanted to celebrate my birthday so I decide on the festival. We ventured to a few of the stands and I tried a couple sips of some drinks (yuck), went on Soarin, and visited Baymax. It was a fun break, hopefully I can schedule more later on!
