Twenty Five for Twenty Six

It is crazy to me that we are almost to November. Where did my year go? How has it been this long already? I know I haven't been as consistent as I had hoped to be with the project, these last few months especially. Upon reflection, (read: thinking to myself as I enter a fugue state flying down I4) I think part of the reason I am struggling so much with this project and in general is due to my lack of identity.  I know I show my self to be all these things but in reality, I still struggle to figure out who I am. I always have. Some of you may know me to be this bubbly, bright, positive, peppy, bouncy person and that is true... but there are so many other sides. I can be mean, very very mean, and strict, bossy, controlling, miserable, hateful. When that happens, people who know me as the former kind of freeze. They ask whats wrong and act cautiously. They don't know what to do with the new form that is in front of them. And then there's this other part that is pityin...

I took a few days (if I’m being honest those days took me). One of them I was too tired from being out late and I couldn’t post. The other two I just got too overwhelmed and distracted and it just didn’t work out. But here I am ^_^ we are a few days out form Catherine wedding and it’s crazy! Work was all over the place yesterday and today and then before we know it BOOM Thursday will be here which is packing day! I’m so excited!!  Eating is going well. Soups are my new best friends. I also was reviewing and I need to revamp my goals here after the wedding.  Here’s to a grand week! 

I made it nine days in a row before I just completed forgot to even try. And once that happens, it is hard to get back into the swing of things. Not even 48 hours later, my clients talked about that general topic in group. My clients teach me things all the time- patience, slang, coping skills, strength, determination, laziness, perseverance, quitting and so much more. They try me on so many things throughout week and sometimes I'm just spent by it and sometimes I'm motivated. It all depends on the types of clients we have at one time. But this group was like the universe talking to me through them. They got off topic and told a story about a basketball player (who is not in anyway affiliated with any of my clients) who refused to play on Sundays because it was his day to go to church and what not. Well the team made it to the playoffs and their game was on a Sunday. The player originally said "No way, Sorry guys. I don't play on Sundays." Eventually his team guil...

The week got away from me again but I kind of have an excuse? I went to Ilysa’s wedding last Sunday which messed up my Monday/Tuesday schedule. Then I got to spend the night over at my Big’s house with her and her sister. Why you ask? GOOFY’S MYSTERY TOUR!! For those who don’t know, this is a cast activity where 300-ish teams of four people who are bungee corded together run around to solve Disney themed puzzles and answer Disney trivia.  It wasn’t on Wednesday, it was on Thursday. But Wednesday night we prepped until 1am. And in event day, we were out until1am in 30 degree weather . We did fairly well at the completion in my opinion. 9/12 puzzles plus the final mystery. We had some really hard puzzles to do and some easy ones. It was good time. We came up with the final puzzle as a group pretty much and it was the first time we have ever gotten the final mystery so that was great.  Friday came and I went to work sooooo tired.
