All the Goals and Goal Ten

WALL OF TEXT COMING AT YOU HERE

I said I would do a post that went over all of my goals and how they are going to fit in to the rest of this project. Here we are. It is time to look those goals in the face. I am not ready in the slightly but here we go.

Goal one- Work on losing 25 pounds
I really started working on this late but I have been working on it! So far I am down about 11 pounds and I think it is doable if I start following my nutritional stuff like I was for April and May to do it.

Goal two- three times a week workout:nutrition goals later
I have been struggling with this goal since before I even made it. I cannot seem to get to the gym three days a week even thought I pay for the damn service! I am just too busy and too tired and that makes me not want to go.
ADJUSTMENT: Exercise at least two times a week through August and then increase to three times a week. Also, reduce gym membership type.

Goal three- BLM,WDW,FF
Also known as BossLadyMonday, WellDressWednesday, and FashionistaFriday.  I have done I think 12 of these total? That is not what I wanted to do. I wanted this to be a weekly thing and I just didn't have the motivation to keep up with it. Again, this goes back to not wanting to get up early/being too busy/being too tired.
ADJUSTMENT: Participate in one of these at least every other week. Less pressure.

Goal four-Clean Car
I have not done this. I haven't kept up with cleaning day, car wash day, or vacuum day. Why? You guessed it, too busy/too tired.
ADJUSTMENT: Changing weekly cleaning day to Tuesday. Thursday has too much going on.

Goal five-schedule and stick to it
I was doing great with this until March and then it just died. Anella got be a planner and I was using this app and doing well and then boom over. We are restarting this tomorrow.

Goal six-complete a chore 3x a week
I have been intermittently successful with this because of the chore chart I made for Peter and I a while back. Some times it is more than 3 chores a week and sometimes it is less. We will maintain this for now.

Goal seven-  6 books by 26
COMPLETE- Graduated to audiobooks and just reading whenever I can.

Goal eight- budget
I don't really know if this is happening or not? My credit card bill went down and then up, my savings is empty currently and I have 40 dollars to my name right now. So I guess not? But then I still have money in my bank account technically so I guess??
ADJUSTMENT: Biggest thing here is to STOP ADDING TO THE CREDIT CARD. Immediately. I think I need to take the gym membership off of the AmEx and put it on my debit card, cancel my protein powder stuff completely and see how that helps.  In general, the budget thing is really not the forefront of my mind so the biggest thing I can do are those cancellations.

Goal nine- wash face everyday till wedding
COMPLETE- My face looked better in terms of acne and dullness. I don't think I am ever going to have great skin though. I am aiming to keep up a better face regimen each week.

Goal ten- NEW GOAL TIME!!  I have been thinking about this for a while now since I have a few I want to add but given my track record on this project with goals, that might not be such a good idea. So let me stick to something simple: water.
I want to get back into water as my primary drink throughout the week and aim for 24 ounces a day throughout the rest of June and re-evaluate in July.

So now we have ten written goals, 8/10 of them have not been completed or really worked on the way that I originally intended. I still have time to fix some of these things. One of the biggest problems how BUSY and TIRED I always am. Currently I am working on condensing some of that busy-ness so that I am not all over the place all the time but we shall see how that works out.

To you, who ever you are that I still reading this far down the page, thank you. Thank you for reading and supporting and messaging and calling and reassuring and all the other things that you do. Stay with me, hand in there. I need that love.

In the beginning...

I started a project. It came to me one day while I was looking over all the things I needed to accomplish. Go to the gym. Eat better. Organize. Look at the car.  The list was becoming endless. I thought back to some other times when I felt like I had to juggle a ton of things and writing as something that was there to help.  I turn 25 this year. Apparently this is a big deal? Something about a quarter of a century? Becoming mature? It's going to happen; going to happen very soon actually (like as I post this). So let me introduce you, whoever that might be, to Twenty Five for Twenty Six.  Here I'm going to attempt to complete 25 goals by the time I turn 26. I have a year. One full year; 365 days to complete a set of tasks. Have I completely decide what those twenty five things are? No. I'm going to give myself a little time to figure those out. I know I need to work on losing 25 pounds but the rest of the goals are kind of up in the air!  I also want ...

These Are Not Joanna Eggs!

If you don't know who Joanna is, please see above. She's a Goanna (reptilian creature who crawls on all fours and eat eggs and things) who is a minor character in "The Rescuers Down Under."  The reason she is featured in today's post is because the theme song for that Disney movie has been playing all day at work as part of the fountain show. I heard it mid afternoon and immediately recognized it. I even said to myself "Well now I have to watch The Rescuers Down Under." And here I am doing just that as we wind down for the night.  Water intake was good today and food was decent. So far breakfast has been the low calorie density meal and based on the scale, I have lost three more pounds. But we shall see. Tomorrow is supposed to be a WellDressedWednesday.

Goosebumps

I am all over the place for sure today (the last few days really). Between worrying about things that I have no business worrying about, trying to complete my goals, work, and general adult skills I feel defeated. I’m struggling to find inspiration and motivation to be consistent. I don’t want to go to work tomorrow. I find myself exhausted the moment I get home (because my Job is exhausting and so is being at home). I look around my apartment and it’s a disaster (even for me it’s bad) and yet I have no energy to fix it. I can’t focus on anything for very long, I’m getting headaches and joint pain again (I was like this all through out high school). And yet I don’t feel nearly as stressed as I did as a teenager. I don’t understand it at all.  I’m sure that people who see me in person and then read here may be confused. I’m seemingly fine  most days. I’m good at masks. I feel the most authentic at work with my clients. Useful, mostly happy, and capable. I’m good at my job. Why ...
